Private Procida Boat Tour with Captain

One premium SACS RIB, twin Mercury V10 400hp and a captain who knows the Bay of Naples. Circle Procida, see Corricella from the water and swim off the tuff cliffs — private, unhurried, entirely yours. From €1,500 a day.

from €1.500

A Procida boat tour shows you the most authentic island in the Bay of Naples the way it was meant to be seen — from the water. Strider Amalfi is a private charter aboard a single premium SACS RIB with twin Mercury V10 400hp engines and a professional captain always on board.

This is not a shared excursion or a bareboat rental. The boat is yours, for up to eight guests, circling Procida to reveal Corricella's painted houses, the tuff cliffs and quiet swimming coves at your own pace. From €1,500 a day, fuel excluded.

The itinerary

10:00

Boarding & cruise toward the island

We meet at the dock for a short briefing with your captain, then open up the twin Mercury V10s for a smooth run across the Bay of Naples toward Procida.

11:00

Marina Corricella from the water

We slow off the famous Corricella, where pastel fishermen's houses stack up the hillside above the little harbour. It is the most photographed corner of the island — and it is best seen from the prow.

12:00

Tuff cliffs & Pozzo Vecchio

We follow the tuff-stone cliffs past Pozzo Vecchio, the 'Postino' beach, with its quiet cinematic atmosphere, drifting into the corners you simply cannot reach from land.

13:00

First swim & snorkelling stop

We anchor in a sheltered cove for swimming and snorkelling in clear water, far from the crowded beaches. Mask, fins and the swim ladder are ready whenever you want to jump in.

14:30

Chiaiolella & the Vivara nature reserve

Cruise to the south-west tip of the island, past the marina of Chiaiolella and the protected islet of Vivara, with the option of a relaxed lunch on board or at a waterfront restaurant.

16:30

Golden-hour cruise back

We turn for home as the light softens and Corricella's colours warm up. It is the perfect moment for a final dip or an aperitivo on deck before the calm run back to the dock.

The boat: a SACS RIB built for the Bay of Naples

When you book a Procida boat tour, the boat makes all the difference. Ours is a SACS — premium Italian build — powered by twin Mercury V10 engines of 400hp each. Not a beach RIB, but a maxi rigid-inflatable with a teak deck, custom upholstery, a T-Top and generous sun pads.

That means smooth cruising at around 35 knots, stability even when the bay picks up, and the range to combine Procida with Ischia, Capri or the Sorrento coast in a single day. Yacht comfort, RIB agility, room for up to eight guests — the ideal platform for an unhurried day on the water.

Why a private charter, not a shared Procida tour

Strider Amalfi is not a bareboat rental and not a group excursion: it is a private charter with a professional captain always on board. There is no boat licence to worry about, no fixed timetable and no strangers — the boat is yours for the day.

Your captain knows the Bay of Naples intimately and shapes the route around what you actually want: more swim stops, a longer lunch in Corricella, a detour toward Vivara or a slow golden-hour cruise. You choose the pace, the playlist and the swim spots; the captain handles the navigation, the anchoring and the local know-how.

Why a private charter, not a shared Procida tour

Procida from the sea: Corricella, coves and clear water

Procida was born and still lives on the water, and its finest spots give their best from the prow. In a single circuit you can watch Corricella open out like a fan of stacked, painted facades, glide along the tuff cliffs, pass the 'Postino' beach at Pozzo Vecchio and anchor off Vivara for a swim in water far clearer than the busy beaches.

Planning the day on land too? Our guide to what to see in Procida in a day helps you combine the alleys and belvederes with the time on the water. And if you want to add a second island, ask about pairing Procida with an Ischia boat tour — they sit just minutes apart.

Prices and departures: your Procida day on the water

Our pricing is transparent, as a premium service should be. A single day starts at €1,500 (fuel excluded), for up to eight guests. For guests who live the sea all summer, the 7-Outing Package is €7,499 with dates of your choice, and the Larger Packages start from €14,998. Some dates carry a surcharge — weekends and holidays +€250, August +€500 — which we always tell you in advance.

For a Procida-focused day we can arrange departure from the Bay of Naples (Naples, Pozzuoli or Sorrento), and the SACS can also reach the island from the Amalfi Coast on a longer charter. Tell us your date and the number of guests on WhatsApp, or explore the rest of the coast from our home page, and we will design the route around you.

Frequently asked

Do I need a boat licence for a Procida boat tour?

No. This is a private charter with a professional captain always on board, so there is no boat licence to hold and nothing to organise about the navigation. You step aboard, choose the route with us and simply enjoy the day in total relaxation.

How much does a private Procida boat tour cost?

A private day starts at €1,500, fuel excluded, for up to eight guests. For more time on the water there is the 7-Outing Package at €7,499. Weekends, holidays and August carry a surcharge, which we always confirm before you book — no hidden costs.

Where does the Procida boat tour depart from?

For a Procida-focused day we usually arrange departure from the Bay of Naples — Naples, Pozzuoli or Sorrento — whichever is most convenient for you. The SACS RIB can also reach the island from the Amalfi Coast on a longer charter. We send the exact point and time on confirmation.

Is this a private charter or a shared tour?

It is entirely private. The boat is yours for the day — no strangers, no fixed schedule and no rushing back for the next departure. With one captain dedicated to your party of up to eight guests, the route and the pace are shaped completely around you.

Can we swim and snorkel around Procida?

Yes — it is one of the best parts of the day. We anchor in sheltered coves where the water is clearer than the crowded beaches, with the swim ladder, mask and fins ready. Your captain knows the most protected spots for a calm, unhurried swim.

Can we combine Procida with Ischia or Capri?

Absolutely. Procida sits just minutes from Ischia and within easy range of Capri, and the twin Mercury V10 engines make a two-island day comfortable. Tell us what you have in mind and we will build a route that links the islands at the right pace.

What happens if the weather is bad?

No risk. In case of bad weather the day is reschedulable, refundable or transferable to the next season. We decide together on the morning itself if conditions look uncertain — you lose nothing and pay no penalty.
