Amalfi Coast Sunset Cruise
A private charter into golden hour — aperitif on board, the light over Positano, and a quiet cove before the sun goes down. Captain always included.
from €1.500
There is one hour on the Amalfi Coast when the cliffs turn amber and the sea goes still. Our Amalfi Coast sunset cruise is built around it: a private charter on a SACS rib with twin Mercury V10 engines, your own captain on board, and no one else but your group.
We leave in the late afternoon, chase the golden light past Positano and Amalfi, drop anchor in a quiet cove for a swim and an aperitif, then raise a glass as the sun sinks into the Tyrrhenian. Elegant, unhurried and entirely yours.

The itinerary
Boarding & welcome aperitif
Step aboard at the marina and settle in with a chilled glass of Prosecco as we cast off toward open water.
Cruise along the coast
We follow the coastline toward Positano, passing pastel villages, watchtowers and cliffs dropping straight into the sea.
Swim stop in a hidden cove
Anchor in a sheltered cove for a swim and a snorkel in clear water before the light starts to turn.
Golden hour off Positano & Li Galli
Drift toward the Li Galli islands as the limestone glows amber and the villages light up one by one.
Sunset toast on open water
A clear horizon, a full glass and the sun sinking into the Tyrrhenian — the moment the whole evening is built around.
Return beneath the lit-up villages
Cruise home as the coast glows against the dark sea, one of the most beautiful sights on the whole Costiera.
The boat: a SACS rib built for golden light
Your sunset cruise runs on a single SACS rib powered by twin Mercury V10 400hp engines — fast enough to reach the best light in minutes, stable and quiet once you anchor. The deck is finished in teak and soft leather, with shaded sun pads, a Bluetooth sound system and plenty of room for up to eight guests to spread out. It is the only boat we run, so it is always immaculate and always yours for the evening.

Why a private sunset charter
This is not a shared tour. From boarding to your final toast, the boat belongs to your group alone — no fixed seats, no strangers, no rushed timetable. Your captain knows where the light falls best and which coves stay calm at dusk, and shapes the evening around what you feel like doing: more swimming, more cruising, or simply drifting with a glass in hand. Premium, personal and completely unhurried.

The light over Positano and Amalfi
As the afternoon softens, the limestone cliffs turn gold and the pastel villages light up one by one. We follow the coast past Amalfi and Positano toward Li Galli, where the open water gives you a clear horizon for the sunset. On the way back the coast glows against the dark sea — one of the most beautiful moments on the whole Costiera, and the reason this cruise books out fastest in summer.

Frequently asked
How much does an Amalfi Coast sunset cruise cost?
A private day charter starts from €1,500 (fuel excluded), captain included, for up to 8 guests. Weekend and holiday dates add €250, August €500 and August weekends €750. Multi-trip packages from €7,499 offer better value for regular guests.
What time does the sunset cruise start?
We usually board in the late afternoon, around 5:00 PM, so you reach open water for golden hour and toast the sunset around 8:30 PM in summer. Exact timing shifts with the season and the date, so we confirm it with you on WhatsApp.
Where does the cruise depart from?
Our base is on the Amalfi Coast near Salerno, and we operate across the whole Campania coastline. We can arrange boarding from Salerno, Amalfi, Positano or another agreed point — just tell us where you are staying.
Is the captain included?
Yes. Every cruise is a private charter with a professional captain on board the entire time. You relax, swim and enjoy the aperitif while we handle navigation, anchoring and finding the best spots for the light.
How many people can join?
The charter is private and seats up to about 8 guests, so it stays comfortable for families, couples and small groups of friends. The boat is yours alone for the evening — no shared seats with strangers.
Can we swim during the cruise?
Yes. Before the light turns golden we drop anchor in a sheltered cove for a swim. Towels and snorkeling gear are on board, and the captain picks calm, clear water suited to the conditions that day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If conditions are unsafe, your cruise is fully flexible: reschedule to another date, transfer it to someone else, or receive a refund. We watch the forecast and contact you in advance, so plans are never left to chance.
